You’ll also enjoy modern amenities such as high-speed internet and a big screen Smart TV for entertainment.
The highlight of this property during the summer is undoubtedly the private pool. Year- around – you’ll enjoy the outdoor firepit area with solar string lights and lots of land area which touts rolling fields and lots of space giving those out in the countryside vibes, yet only 10 to 12 minutes from the city. Gather around the poolside seating for a barbecue and al fresco dining experience. The spacious patio area is perfect for outdoor dining, barbecues, or simply unwinding with a good book on the porch swing. The expansive yard offers ample space for outdoor activities and games, and two tree swings out front, all ensuring endless entertainment for guests of all ages. At night you will enjoy only the sounds of nature and the serenity of living on a farm.

This retreat is only minutes from the charm and progressive energy of Southaven Mississippi, yet off the beaten path enough to feel your are out in deep country. The house sits serveral yards back from the main street and is adorned with a rod iron fence and long driveway upon entering. There are 2 small houses to the east, on the west side is a business office but both are far enough away for your privacy and quiet enjoyment.
For those who want to venture out from the serenity to the retreat, you’ll still be within reach of an array of local attractions. Just a short drive away, nature lovers can discover the renowned Mississippi River via the Hernando Desoto Riverpark, where you can enjoy scenic walks, fishing, and boating adventures. For those seeking retail therapy, the nearby Southaven Towne Center and Tanger Outlet Mall together provide a variety of shopping and dining options.
Just a short drive away, you’ll find the bustling city of Memphis, Tennessee, where you can explore iconic attractions such as Graceland, Beale Street, and the National Civil Rights Museum.

✅Several yards behind the pool house we have a mysterious barn area where you may possibly observe wildlife. This area is not safe nor accessible right now but we have future plans to make it more inclusive for our guests. It may be fun to see it from the pool area though.
✅You may also notice that there are 2 neighboring businesses located several yards away from the house, including a small mechanic shop that occasionally uses the same driveway coming from the main street and pass the house going to their drive. There is never much traffic coming and going and when there is a pass thru car its usually during weekday business daytime hours. Just a heads up though.

✅ This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $37 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.

It is not an app, and you do not have to sign up for an account – it’s a safe and secure website. It also gives you a guest portal with all the info about the home and all of my favorite local spots.
✅3rd party bookings are not allowed without prior approval. Exceptions will be made for work groups needing to book through their home office. If you are local and want to book the house please message us first to discuss the purpose of your stay. If we are not clear, your listing will be canceled in order for us to stay in compliance with AirBnB policies. Honest communication is key.
